Pay Rates: From £12.21 (weekdays) and £12:30 (weekends) for candidates without any care experience and £12.74 (weekdays) and £12.97 (weekends) for candidates with relevant experience 

Shift Patterns: 12 hours and normally 08:00-20:00 or 20.00-08.00 with 3 days on, one week and 4 days on the next

All training is delivered onsite by our learning and development team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of registered nurses to deliver a high standard of inpatient care in partnership with the wider clinical team, the service users and their family members/carers. 
  • To support the named nurse/primary nurse in the assessment of needs for a group of patients and deliver their care under supervision.
  • To work within a team of nurses and other professionals who are committed to the delivery of a quality service.
  • To adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty, in order to meet the needs of the service over a 24-hour period. 
  • To be an active participant in the multi-disciplinary team, assisting in the formulating of care plans and utilising skills to inform patient assessments and evaluations.
  • To contribute to the information recorded on the patient information system by reporting to nursing staff on patient’s presentations throughout the shift.
